In 2005, the LPYC  undertook a major renovation. The project included increasing the size of the clubhouse, adding a multipurpose building, launch ramp, breakwall, and landscaping . A special ‘thank you’ goes out to the partners of the project (Enterprise Cape Breton Corporation, the Municipality of the County of Richmond, the Strait-Highlands RDA, Development Isle Madame Association), fundraisers and the many volunteers.
