Welcome to the Lennox Passage Yacht Club located in D’Escousse, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. We hope that you stop in to visit us while on your travels. Actually, we are situated in an excellent location for boaters sailing in and out of the Bras d’Or Lakes. We are the last stop before entering the locks in St. Peter’s. We often have visitors stay with us for the day/night prior to heading into the Bras d’Or Lakes or leaving the Bras d’Or Lakes. As a matter of interest, the boating in and around Lennox Passage is excellent. You could spend an entire summer sailing around Isle Madame exploring the hundreds of quaint coves and hidden inlets.
The Lennox Passage Yacht Club, a non-for-profit organization, was formed in 1980 with the initial objective of saving the D’Escousse Wharf from its impending destruction (a goal that was achieved). They started with a group of 20 concerned citizens and have grown to their present size of over 100 members. The membership includes people from all over North America and the club hosts visitors from around the world.
Please feel free to come by and see us. We do offer overnight dockage and protected anchorages. You can provision your boat, send an email, and enjoy our friendly clubhouse.
See you soon,
