Welcome Visiting Boaters

Lennox Passage Yacht Club welcomes visiting boaters travelling through Lennox Passage, Isle Madame, and the Bras d’Or Lakes region.

Located in D’Escousse, Nova Scotia, LPYC offers a friendly and protected place to stop, rest, and enjoy the surrounding community. Whether you are staying overnight, launching for the day, or looking for local information, we are happy to welcome you.

Overnight Dockage

Overnight dockage is available for visiting boats, with access to club facilities and essential services.

Visitor dockage includes access to:

  • Power
  • Water
  • Showers
  • Public washrooms
  • Laundry
  • Wi-Fi
  • Clubhouse access

Please contact the club in advance when possible to confirm availability.

Visitor dockage rate: $1.50 per foot per night
Launch ramp: $5.00

Please confirm current rates with the club before arrival, as rates may change.

Moorings and Anchorage

LPYC is located in a scenic and protected harbour area, making it a comfortable stop for boaters exploring Lennox Passage and the surrounding waters.

Moorings and nearby protected anchorage may be available depending on conditions and availability.

Launch Ramp

A concrete launch ramp is available for boaters who wish to launch for the day or access the water from D’Escousse.

Launch ramp fee: $5.00

Please use caution when launching and retrieving vessels, and be respectful of other boaters and club users.

D’Escousse is located on Isle Madame, a beautiful coastal area of Cape Breton with scenic views, quiet harbours, and a strong maritime history.

LPYC is a convenient stop for boaters travelling along the south coast of Cape Breton or making their way toward the Bras d’Or Lakes.

Visitors can enjoy the peaceful harbour, the surrounding community, and the natural beauty of Lennox Passage.
